Who we are
SiteQuill Contractor Services ("SiteQuill", "we", "us") provides a web-based documentation platform that helps contractors organize field information and generate project documents. This policy covers information handled through quillcontractors.dev and any subdomains we operate.
Information we collect
- Account information — name, email address, and password you provide when creating an account or signing in with Google.
- Content you upload — photos, notes, text, and documents you add to a project so we can help you organize them and generate drafts.
- Billing information — plan, subscription status, and billing identifiers returned by Stripe. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
- Usage information — standard product telemetry (browser, device, pages viewed, errors) used to operate and improve the service.
- Communications — messages you send us through the contact or demo forms, and your response to any email we send.
How we use it
- To operate the platform, authenticate you, and deliver the documents you ask us to generate.
- To process payments and manage your subscription through Stripe.
- To send transactional emails you have asked for (confirmations, password resets, receipts, form responses).
- To secure the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- To improve the product based on aggregated usage patterns.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your project content to train foundation models.
Service providers
We use a small number of vetted service providers to run the platform: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Stripe (payments), and a transactional email provider (email delivery). These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Cookies
We use a small number of first-party cookies for authentication and basic product analytics. You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time; blocking authentication cookies will prevent you from signing in.
Data retention
We retain account and project content for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your content within 30 days, except where we are required to retain records (for example, billing records) by law.
Your choices
You can update your account information from the dashboard, cancel your subscription at any time, and request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at the address below. We respond within a reasonable period consistent with applicable law.
Data Processing Addendum
Enterprise customers subject to GDPR, UK GDPR, or CCPA can request a signed DPA covering processing of personal information on their behalf. Contact us at info@quillcontractors.dev.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to this policy we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
